You must not miss a tour of Ravello “The City of Music”
The tour starts from the historic centre with a visit to the “Duomo” of San Pantaleone whose construction dates back to 1086.
It continues with a visit the “Villa Rufolo” with it splendid gardens, the Tower and the Moorish Cloister.
Visitors find that the most beautiful part of the villa is the garden situated above with its breathtaking and spectacular view which forms the basis for the stage used during the Ravello Festival.
From the main square just a short walk takes you to the “Villa Cimbrone” with its magic union of history and nature combining the Cloister and Crypt with its wide variety of flowers along the Terrace of Roses which leads to the “Terazza dell’Infinito” with the most stunning views in the world.
In a different part of the town is the Piazza Fontana Moresca where, with the help of the owner of the local dairy, it is possible to learn how to produce the famous mozzarella cheese (reservation required).
